Solução

Limpeza da superfície de vidro da placa

1. Remoção de diferentes tipos de sujidade:

Remova imediatamente: plástico derretido, película de plástico, sal, açúcar e alimentos com açúcar, caso contrário a sujidade pode danificar a placa. Tenha cuidado para evitar queimaduras.

Remova quando a placa estiver suficientemente fria: anéis de calcário, marcas de água, manchas de gordura e descolorações metálicas brilhantes.

2. Limpeza diária da placa Electrolux SaphirMatt®:

Limpe regularmente a placa com um pano macio húmido. Pode usar um detergente de limpeza comum. Seque a superfície de vidro com um pano de microfibras.

3. Como remover marcas e manchas persistentes:

Para manchas persistentes que não possam ser removidas com o procedimento de limpeza diária, siga estes passos:

Effectively remove grease and stubborn burnt-on food residue.
Matt Care Hob Cleaner is a dedicated deep cleaning solution for matt glass-ceramic induction hobs, including SaphirMatt® and SaphirMatt® SE hobs*. Remove tough grease and stubborn burnt-on food residue to maintain a pristine hob.

*Do not use on metal parts which should be cleaned with dishwashing liquid and warm water using a damp cloth.

Note: The MATT CARE hob cleaner should only be used on the glass surface. To avoid discolorations, please make sure the MATT CARE hob cleaner does not get into contact with any other materials such as the metal frame or the kitchen countertop.

Note: Wear protective gloves during cleaning.

Alternatively, you can use a mildly abrasive cream cleaner (e.g. Cif, Viss, Vim, Jif, or similar).
Do not use standard cream cleaners – suitable for smooth glass ceramic – on SaphirMatt® surface. It will not be sufficiently clean.
Apply the cleaner and let it soak in for at least 5 minutes.
Apply moderate pressure and gently scrub the surface in circular movements with a soft, non-scratch sponge for several minutes.
Wipe the hob with a wet, soft cloth to remove residues of the cleaning detergent.
Wipe the glass surface dry with a microfibre cloth.
If needed, repeat this procedure several times until all stains are vanished.

Non-scratch sponges usually have a blue colour scouring pad and can be found in supermarkets.

NOTE: Strongly abrasive sponges are NOT suitable! Please check the packet information.

For extraordinary persistent stains:

Apply the MattCare Hob Cleaner generously to the stained area.
Cover the spot with kitchen plastic wrap to prevent the cleaner from evaporating.
Allow it to soak in for several hours or overnight.
Remove the plastic wrap, then wipe the area clean using water and a soft cloth.

Note: To prevent discoloration, ensure the cleaner comes only into contact with the glass surface. Avoid applying it to the frame, countertop, or any non‑glass materials. Make sure there is at least a 2 cm distance between the foil and any non-glass materials.

To remove burned-in residues, use a special hob scraper on-the-glass surface at a flat angle and move the blade on the surface.

NOTE: Always use a scraper recommended for hobs with a glass surface.

Cleaning the Frame

Depending on the model, the hob is equipped with a Matt Black frame on the side.

Only clean the metal frame with a damp cloth, dishwashing liquid, and warm water.

Do not use: cleaning milk, polishing agents, glass scrapers, or the rough side of a sponge.

Dirt, such as crumbs and grains of salt, can accumulate in the gap between the glass surface and the side frame - It is best to clean the gap with a wooden toothpick.

Do not use sharp-edged knives or metal objects for cleaning - this could damage the frame.
